Kustaa VilkunanetunimiäPirjo Mikkosen





Etunimet on Kustaa Vilkunan kirja, joka käsittelee etupäässä suomalaisia etunimiä. Kirja ilmestyi vuonna 1976 sarjassa Otavan pienet tietosanakirjat.[1] Neljäs, uudistettu painos ilmestyi vuonna 2005 Pirjo Mikkosen toimittamana. Hän on muun muassa lisännyt jokaisen nimiartikkelin alkuun lyhenteen nn (naisennimi) tai mn (miehennimi). Muuten kirjassa naisen- ja miehennimiä ei ole eroteltu toisistaan, toisin kuin myöhemmissä suomalaisissa etunimikirjoissa.


Aikaisemmin suomalaisia etunimiä on käsitelty vuonna 1947 julkaistussa teoksessa Etunimikirja (Hannes Teppo, Kustaa Vilkuna; SKS 1947. Tietolipas No 5).
