Bubbles (s. 1983) on Michael Jacksonille kuulunut simpanssi.[1]


Bubbles eleli Texasissa syöpätutkimuskliniikalla vuoteen 1985 asti, jolloin se siirrettiin Kaliforniaan Michael Jacksonin luokse. Seuraavan kymmenen vuoden aikana se oli usein Jacksonin mukana erilaisissa palkintojenjakotilaisuuksissa hienosti pukeutuneena, ja sai näin paljon julkisuutta. Bubbles oli myös mukana studiossa Jacksonin Bad-albumia levytettäessä. Huhujen mukaan Bubblesilla oli oma henkivartija.


Bubbles häipyi parrasvaloista ja jäi elelemään Jacksonin Neverland-maatilalle. Vuonna 2003 Martin Bashirin Jackson-dokumenttielokuvassa Bubblesia kuitenkin näytettiin jonkin verran. Elokuvassa Bubbles käytti vaippoja ja kävi vessassa. Filmin Bubblesia esittäneitä kohtia näytettiin myös tuomaristolle vuoden 2005 lapsien hyväksikäyttämissyytteisiin liittyvän oikeusjutun yhteydessä. Näissä kohdin elokuvaa Bashir kysyy Jacksonilta simpanssin työskentelystä tilalla. Bubbles pesee ikkunoita ja vessoja sekä lakaisee tomuja. Jackson selitti simpanssien olevan älykkäitä, ja heidän DNA:nsa näyttävät mikroskoopissa samalta kuin ihmisten. Muutamien lehtijuttujen mukaan Bubbles ei kuitenkaan enää asu tilalla. Sanottiin, että se olisi tullut hankalammaksi vanhemmiten ja purrut muutamia ihmisiä. New York Daily News -lehden artikkelin mukaan yli 20-vuotias Bubbles elää Los Angelesissa sijaitsevalla maatilalla. Tilan isännän, Bob Dunnin, mukaan Bubblesilla menee hyvin.


Vuonna 1988 taiteilija Jeff Koons teki Michael Jackson and Bubbles -nimisen keramiikkatyön, jossa oli luonnollisessa koossa kullan värisistä paloista tehty patsas, joka esitti Bubblesia sylissään pitävää Jacksonia. Patsaan mitat ovat 1067 x 1791 x 826 mm. Patsas on rahassa mitattuna arvokkain elävän taiteilijan tekemä patsas. Tuntematon ostaja osti sen New Yorkissa 5,6 miljoonalla Yhdysvaltain dollarilla. Veistoksen nykyinen omistaja on Eli Broadin taidesäätiö, joka lainaa sitä muille museoille. Tällä hetkelläselvennä se on Oslossa Astrup Fearnleyn nykytaiteen museossa.
