Dankov (ven. Данко́в) on kaupunki Lipetskin alueella Venäjällä. Se sijaitsee Donin yläjuoksulla 86 kilometriä Lipetskistä luoteeseen. Kaupunki on Dankovin piirin keskus. Sen kautta kulkee Ranenburgin ja Volovon välinen rautatie (Dankovin asema). Asukkaita on 22 300 henkeä (vuonna 2008).




Danikovin vaakuna (vuodelta 1862)


Donkovin kauppalaituri sijaitsi alun perin Donin vasemmalla rannalla 34 kilometrin päässä nykyisestä kaupungista. Vuonna 1563 se siirrettiin uudelle paikalle Donin oikealle rannalla. 1600-luvun puoliväliin saakka siellä oli Venäjän etelärajaa suojannut linnoitus. Vuonna 1778 Dankovista tuli Rjazanin lääniin kuulunut kihlakuntakaupunki. Vuosina 1796–1804 ja 1924–1959 sillä ei ollut kaupungin statusta. Nykyään kaupungissa on mm. kemian tehdas, teräsbetonirakennetehdas sekä elintarviketeollisuutta.
