Historia |


Missouri-synodin lähetystyöntekijät perustivat ensimmäiset Kanadan seurakuntansa Ontarioon vuonna 1854. Vuonna 1988 Kanadan seurakunnat muodostivat Missouri-synodista itsenäisen kirkon, johon kuului kolme piiriä: Alberta-British Columbia District, Central District ja East District.[2]

Kirkolla on noin 300 seurakuntaa, joissa on noin 57 000 jäsentä. Kirkko kuuluu Missouri-synodin tavoin Kansainväliseen luterilaiseen neuvostoon.[1]
