David Matthew Hicks (käyttänyt myös nimiä Abu Muslim al-Austraili ja Mohammed Dawood, s. 7. elokuuta 1975, Adelaide) on australialainen, joka pidätettiin Afganistanissa syksyllä 2001 ja jota pidettiin sen jälkeen vangittuna Yhdysvaltain Guantanamo Bayn vankileirillä.


Kesäkuussa 2004 Yhdysvallat syytti Hicksiä osallistumisesta sotarikossalaliittoon, murhayrityksestä ja vihollisen avustamisesta. Hicks oli kolmas virallisesti syytetty Guantanamon vanki.[1]


Oikeudenkäynti Hicksiä vastaan alkoi 26. maaliskuuta 2007. Heti oikeudenkäynnin alussa Hicks myönsi syyllisyytensä terrorismin tukemiseen. Sotarikostuomioistuin tuomitsi Hicksin seitsemäksi vuodeksi vankeuteen. Hän kärsi rangaistuksesta jäljellä olevat yhdeksän kuukautta Australiassa.[2][3][4]


David Hicks oli ensimmäinen yhdysvaltalaisessa sotarikostuomioistuimessa tuomittu henkilö toisen maailmansodan jälkeen. Hicksin omaelämäkerta Guantanamo: My Journey ilmestyi 2010.
