Tonkininlanguri[2] (Trachypithecus delacouri) on äärimmäisen uhanalainen aasialainen apinalaji, jota tavataan enää noin kahdessakymmenessä eristyneessä ryhmässä.[1] Yksilöitä on jäljellä alle kolmesataa.[3]



Ulkonäkö ja koko |


Tonkininlangurin turkki on erikoisen värinen: muuten musta, mutta lantiota ja reisiä peittää valkoinen alue. Vietnamissa sitä kutsutaankin valkohousulanguriksi. Myös poskissa on vaaleampaa harmaata karvaa.[4] Päälaella on pystyyn nouseva harja. Häntä on hyvin tuuhea. Poikaset ovat oranssinsävyisiä.[5]



Levinneisyys |


Tonkininlanguri elää vain Vietnamissa, maan pohjoisosan kalkkikivialueella Pù Luông-Cúc Phươngissa, joka kuuluu Thanh Hóan, Hòa Bìnhin ja Ninh Bìnhin provinsseihin.[6]
