Kenneth E. Stager (28. tammikuuta 1915 Uniontown, Pennsylvania – 13. toukokuuta 2009 Los Angeles[1]) oli yhdysvaltalainen lintutieteilijä.


Stager opiskeli eläintiedettä Kalifornian yliopistossa Los Angelesissa ja valmistui vuonna 1940, jonka jälkeen kuraattori George Willett työllisti hänet päätoimiseksi assistentiksi vuoden 1941 lopulla. Sittemmin hän työskenteli L.A. County Natural History Museumin lintujen ja nisäkkäiden osaston kuraattorina.


Toisessa maailmansodassa Stager palveli Yhdysvaltain armeijan ja Kiinan armeijan välisenä yhdysupseerina Burmassa, sekä johtavana upseerina erilaisissa tehtävissä. Hän erosi palveluksesta kapteenin arvoisena 1946.


Aasiassa ollessaan Stager keräsi 139 linnunnahan kokoelman. Hän jatkoi opintojaan ja väitteli tohtoriksi 1962. Hänet valittiin American Ornithologists' Unionin kunniajäseneksi ja Cooper Ornithological Societyn ainaisjäseneksi. Hän toimi myös Etelä-Kalifornian tiedeakatemian (Southern California Academy of Sciences) puheenjohtajana.


Stager nimesi linnuista ruskotikkasen (Picumnus fulvescens) 1961 ja peruntikkasen (Picumnus subtilis) 1968.[2]
