Shahnawaz Bhutto (1958–1985) oli Pakistanin entisen pääministerin Zulfikar Ali Bhuton ja tämän vaimon Nusratin nuorin poika. Bhutto sai koulutuksensa Pakistanissa ja myöhemmin ulkomailla.


Shahnawaz oli Sveitsissä, kun Muhammad Zia ul-Haqin johtama sotlasjuntta teloitti Shahnawazin hänen isänsä vuonna 1979. Teloituksen ja oikeudenkäynnin aikana Shahnawaz ja tämän veli Murtazan järjestivät kansainvälisen kampanjan isänsä hengen pelastamiseksi, mutta turhaan. Shahnawaz ja Murtazan jatkoivat Zia ul-Haqin vastaista kampanjaa maanpaossa. Shahnawazin uskotaan perustaneen ryhmän,joka yritti kaataa Zian hallinnon Pakistanissa.


18. kesäkuuta vuonna 1984 Bhutto löydettiin kuolleena tämän Ranskan Rivieran asunnosta Nizzasta. Bhutto kuoli hämärissä olosuhteissa, ja Bhuton perhe väitti, että hänet olisi myrkytetty. On todennäköistä, että Bhutto kuoli huumeiden yliannostukseen. Ketään ei haastettu oikeuteen, mutta Shahnawazin vaimo Rehana oli Ranskan poliisin ykkösepäilty ja vankeudessa pitkän aikaa. Rehana todettiin kuitenkin syyttömäksi. Hän sai luvan lähteä maasta ja matkusti Yhdysvaltoihin. Bhutoilla oli yksi lapsi, Sassi.


Bhuton hautajaisiin Larkanassa osallistui noin 25 000 ihmistä, ja se oli samalla yksi suurimmista Zian hallinnon vastaisista oppositiokampanjoista.
