Hattfjelldal (eteläsaameksi Aarborte) on kunta Nordlandin läänissä Norjassa. Sen rajanaapureita ovat pohjoisessa Hemnes, lännessä Grane ja Vefsn sekä etelässä Røyrvik. Idässä kunta rajoittuu Ruotsiin, Västerbottenin lääniin.


Hattfjelldal eroutui Vefsnistä vuonna 1862. Nykyiset rajansa se sai 1964, jolloin Røssvatnetin pohjoispuoliset alueet liitettiin Hemnesiin. Noin puolet kunnan väestöstä asuu Hattfjelldalin taajamassa, joka on myös kunnan ainut taajama ja hallintokeskus.[2] Tammikuussa 2013 tehdyn väestönlaskennan mukaan koko Hattfjelldalin kunnassa oli 1 471 asukasta.[3]
