Mount Diablo on vuori Yhdysvalloissa Kalifornian osavaltiossa. Vuori sijaitsee San Franciscon lahden alueella, ja sen ylin huippu on yli kilometrin korkeudella maasta. Huippua ympäröi Mount Diablon puistoalue, jonka pinta-ala on noin 80 km². Vuoren huippu kohoaa jyrkästi sitä ympäröivästä tasaisesta maastosta.[1]


Alun perin Mont Diablo ja sen ympäristö olivat paikallisten miwok-intiaanien asuinaluetta. Espanjalaiset valtasivat alueen 1800-luvun alkupuolella, [2] ja antoivat vuoristolle nimeksi Monte Del Diablo "Paholaisen tiheikkö". Englantilaiset kuulivat nimen väärin ja vuoriston nimi kääntyi nykymuotoonsa Mount Diablo (Paholaisen vuori).[3]


Mount Diablosta ja sen lähialueilta on löydetty useita tärkeitä mineraaleja ja kivilajeja sisältäen pohjoisessa elohopean, kuparin, sinooperin, diabaasin, sinisen liuskekiven ja travertiinin sekä idässä maakaasun ja raakaöljyn.[4]
