State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC, kiin. 国家电网公司; pinyin: Guójiā Diànwǎng Gōngsī) on erittäin suuri, vuonna 2002 perustettu kiinalainen valtionyhtiö. SGCC on maailman suurin sähkönsiirtoverkkojen rakentamiseen ja operointiin keskittynyt yhtiö.[1][4] Yhtiö operoi myös maailman suurinta aurinkovoimalaitosta. Kiinan laajenevan uusiutuvan energiatuotannon takia yhtiö uusii laajalti Kiinan sähkönsiirtoverkkoja.[2] Yhtiön kotipaikka on Peking. [3] SGCC on myös yksi maailman suurimpia työnantajia.[5] Yhtymä kertoo sillä olevan 1,87 miljoonaa työntekijää,[1] ja toisenkin lähteen mukaan väkeä on 921 964 henkeä.[2]


Ulkomaista toimintaa yhtiöllä on muun muassa Filippiineillä, Brasiliassa, Portugalissa ja Australiassa.[1]


Vuoden 2015 Fortune 500 -listallaan talouslehti Fortune arvioi SGCC:n sijalle 7 viidestäsadasta arvioimastaan suuryrityksestä maailmanlaajuisesti. Yrityksen liikevaihto oli vuonna 2014 yhteensä 339,426 USD ja nettovoitto 9,796 miljardia dollaria.[2][6]


    SGCC:n perustaminen oli osa Kiinan valtion energiasektorin uudistusten kolmatta vaihetta. Vuonna 2002 valtion jättiläismäinen voimantuotantokonserni (State Power Corporation), joka vastasi tuolloin 46 prosentista koko Kiinan sähköntuotannosta, jaettiin pienempiin osiin.[7] Kantaverkkoyhtiöitä perustettiin kaksi: State Grid Corporation of China (SGGC, Peking) ja pienempi China Southern Power Grid (CSG, Kanton). Voimantuotantoyhtiöitä perustettiin viisi: China Huaneng Group (tytäryhtiö pörssiyritys Huaneng Power International[8]), China Datang Corporation, China Huadian Corporation, China Guodian Corporation ja China Power Investment Corporation.[7]
