Fisker Karma


Fisker Automotive Inc. on yhdysvaltalainen automuotoiluyritys ja -valmistaja, joka valmistaa yksilöllisiä urheiluautoja. Yhtiön perustivat 2005 tanskalaissyntyinen Henrik Fisker ja saksalainen Bernhard Koehler toimittuaan tätä ennen yhdessä usean muun autovalmistajan alaisuudessa. Fisker Automotive esitteli 14. tammikuuta 2008 North American International Auto Show-autonäyttelyssä (NAIAS) Detroitissa ensimmäisen tuotantomallinsa neliovisen plug-in sarjahybridiauton Fisker Karman. Karman ensimmäiset toimitukset alkoivat 2011 ja tuotantomääräksi on suunniteltu 15 000 autoa vuodessa. Valmet Automotive ja Fisker Automotive ovat allekirjoittaneet sopimuksen autojen valmistuksesta Suomessa Uudenkaupungin tehtailla.[1] Tuotanto aloitettiin vuoden 2011 loppupuolella Uudessakaupungissa.


2013 Yhtiö palkkasi asianajajat selvittämään yhtiön heikentynyttä tilaa.[2]
