James Alexander "Jim" Bacon (15. toukokuuta 1950 – 20. kesäkuuta 2004) oli australialainen työväenpuolueen poliitikko. Hän syntyi Melbournessa ja opiskeli Monash-yliopistossa.


Bacon toimi Tasmanian pääministerinä vuodesta 1998. Hän erosi virasta maaliskuussa 2004 sairastuttuaan keuhkosyöpään, johon hän saman vuoden kesäkuussa kuoli 54-vuotiaana.


Tasmanian yliopisto myönsi Baconille postuumin kunniatohtorinarvon, ja vielä kesäkuussa 2005 hänestä tehtiin Australian ritarikunnan companion.
