Roy A. Tucker (s. 1951 Jackson, Mississippi) on yhdysvaltalainen tähtitieteilijä.[1]


Tucker kasvoi Memphisissä, Tennesseessä. Vuonna 1966 hänestä tuli Memphisin tähtitieteellisen seuran jäsen ja suoritti maisterintutkinnon tieteellisissä mittalaitteissa. Hän on työskennellyt laiteasiantuntijana Kitt Peakin observatoriossa ja Arizonan yliopiston Kuvausteknologialaboratoriossa. Hän tekee havaintoja myös yksityisessä Arizonan Goodricke-Pigott observatoriossa.[2][1]


Tucker on yksi asteroidin 99942 Apophis löytäjistä.[3]
