Block Island on saari Yhdysvaltain Rhode Islandin osavaltiossa, Atlantin valtamerellä. Se sijaitsee noin 16 kilometrin päässä Rhode Islandin rannikosta, ja sitä erottaa mantereesta Block Islandin salmi. Vuoden 2000 väestönlaskennassa saaren asukasluvuksi ilmoitettiin 1 010. Pinta-alaltaan saari on 25,211 neliökilometrin suuruinen, ja se on 11 kilometriä pitkä ja noin viisi kilometriä leveä. Saarella sijaitsee ainoastaan yksi kunta, New Shoreham.


Vuonna 1524 italialainen purjehtija Giovanni da Verrazzano saapui saarelle. Hän oli ensimmäinen eurooppalainen saarella, ja antoi sille nimen Luisa, Ranskan kuningataräidin Loviisan mukaan. Vuonna 1614 saarelle saapui hollantilainen Adriaen Block, joka uudelleenimesi saaren itsensä mukaan. Englantilaisesta Massachusettsin siirtomaasta saapui saarta asuttamaan 15 perhettä vuonna 1616. Vuonna 1672 saaresta tuli osa Rhode Islandin siirtomaata.


Saarella sijaitsee kaksi historiallista majakkaa: Block Island North Light saaren pohjoiskärjessä ja Block Island Southeast Light saaren kaakkoisella puolella.
