Hvidovre on Tanskan Pääkaupunkialueella sijaitsevan Hvidovren kunnan keskustaajama. Vuoden 2012 alussa taajamassa oli 50 502 asukasta. Hvidovre ei varsinaisesti muodosta omaa taajamaa, vaan se on osa kuntarajat ylittävää Hovedstadsområdetin taajamaa.[1]


Hvidovre sijaitsee noin 10 kilometrin päässä Tanskan pääkaupungin Kööpenhaminan keskustasta länsilounaaseen, suurkaupunkimaisen asutuksen laidalla.

Hvidovressa toimii useita tunnettuja jalkapalloseuroja kuten aiemmin maan pääsarjassa pelannut HIF ja Rosenhøj Boldklub, jonka kasvatteja on muiden muassa maailmanluokan puolustuspelaaja Daniel Agger ja ManU-legenda Peter Schmeichel


Hvidovren venesatamassa on aikojen saatossa kehittynyt useita menestyksekkäitä kilpapurjehtijoita. Tätä on pitkälti edesauttanut sataman keskeinen sijainti Kalvebodernen kohdalla Sjællandsbroen ja Amagerbroen -siltojen välissä, joka on helpottanut nuorten saamista mukaan toimintaan.
