I have text document and I want to extract 5 specified types of words or phrases out of this document. I am thinking of using NER first and then multi class classification of NER output.
1. Is there any other way to do this?
or
2. How to do multi class classification on these test data( NER output or words)

With NER you should already be able to extract words and phrases. Can you expand on what's the purpose with the classification?

In this I am extracting entities from legal contracts, so accuracy is poor. So I want to use NER as just for entity extraction. Then classify them correctly.

You are giving very little information for people to understand the problem. I suggest you rewrite your question. Show examples of what entities you are trying to extract with NER. Explain why results are poor with examples. Show what kind of results you want to achieve with the classification .
