Kimmo Pasanen (s. 1943) on taidemaalari, kirjailija ja filosofi, joka asuu ja työskentelee Pariisissa. Hän on väitellyt filosofian tohtoriksi Sorbonnen yliopistossa. Lukuisten artikkeleiden lisäksi Pasanen on julkaissut teoksen Tyhjyys itämaisessa ajattelussa ja taiteessa (Teos 2008), sekä modernin taiteen perusteita ja taustoja selvittävän kirjan Musta neliö – abstraktin taiteen salat (Taide 2004).
