MOS Technology, toiselta nimeltään Commodore Semiconductor Group, oli Commodoren omistama mikropiirivalmistaja, joka valmisti suorittimia ja muita piirejä tietokone- ja laskinkäyttöön. MOS:n ehkä tunnetuin tuote oli 8-bittinen MOS 6502 -suoritin.


Yrityksen perusti Allen-Bradley, joka halusi varmistaa toisen lähteen Texas Instrumentsin suunnittelemille mikropiireille.


Vuonna 1976 Commodore osti yrityksen.[1]

  • MOS 6502 ja yhteensopivat suorittimet: 4510, 6501, 6507, 6508, 6509, 6510, 8500 ja 8502. Käytetty useissa 8-bittisissä tietokoneissa.


  • MOS 6522 ja 6520 -laiteohjainpiirit.


  • MOS 6560 ja 6561, eli VIC-20:ssa käytetyt VIC-videopiirit.


  • MOS 6567, 6569, 8562, 8564, 8565 ja 8566, eli Commodore 64:n ja Commodore 128:n VIC-II-videopiirit.


  • MOS 6581, 6582 ja 8580, eli Commodore 64:n ja Commodore 128:n SID-äänipiirit.
