Pontevedra on maakunta Atlantin rannikolla luoteisessa Espanjassa Galician itsehallintoalueen lounaisosassa. Sen rajanaapureita ovat Portugali sekä A Coruñan, Lugon ja Ourensen maakunnat.


Pontevedran väkiluku on 942 731 (vuonna 2017)[1] ja pinta-ala 4 495 neliökilometriä.[2] 8 prosenttia väestöstä asuu pääkaupungissa Pontevedrassa. Maakunnan suurin kaupunki on Vigo. Maakunnassa on yhteensä 62 kuntaa.


Pontevedra jakaa Las Islas Atlánticas de Galician kansallispuiston A Coruñan maakunnan kanssa.
