Arkkipiispa Dr. Werner Thissen (2012)


Werner Thissen (s. 3. joulukuuta 1938) on saksalainen roomalaiskatolinen arkkipiispa. Hän syntyi Klevessä ja sai pappisvihkimyksensä Münsterin hiippakunnassa 29. kesäkuuta 1966. Hänet nimitettiin Münsterin vihkipiispaksi ja Scampan titulaaripiispaksi 16. huhtikuuta 1999. Piispaksi vihkiminen seurasi 24. toukokuuta. Pääkonsekraattorina toimi Reinhard Lettmann, jota avustivat Alfons Demming ja Heinrich Janssen.[1]


Thissen nimitettiin Hampurin arkkipiispaksi 22. marraskuuta 2002 ja asetettiin virkaan 25. tammikuuta 2003.[1]
