Albumi sai hyvän vastaanoton. Imperiumin Janne Rintala arvioi albumin maanläheiseksi ja oikeaoppiseksi hard rock -albumiksi, joka on velkasuhteessa 1970-luvun rock- ja punkmusiikille.[3] Metallimusiikkilehti Infernon Mika Kuusinen piti albumia niin ikään mainiona lisänä garage rock -levytysten perinteikkääseen joukkoon, ja totesi yhtyeen nostaneen kierroksia ”Dead Dogs” -esikoissinglestä. Hänestä räyhäkkään startin saanut kone jokseenkin hyytyy puolenvälin jälkeen, eikä yhtye kykene ”vielä” käymään genrelle tunnusomaisesti vaadittavilla ylikierroksilla loppuun saakka.[4]Kaaoszinen Jyri Kinnari piti debyyttialbumia katu-uskottavana, jota ei ole onnekseen viilattu liian timanttiseksi. Hän ei myöskään pitänyt mahdottomana yhtyeen nousemista johtavien retrorock-yhtyeiden kastiin.[5] Niin ikään Noisen Mikko Nissinen piti yhtyettä kotimaisen rokkikukkoilun suurimmaksi nimeksi. Jokseenkin negatiivisena asiana hän piti laulaja Gyntsän Hellacoptersin Nicke Anderssonilta ottamia vaikutteita, ja toivoi lisää röyhkeyttä ja omaperäistä hyökkäävyyttä tulkintaan.[6]
