Hieronymus Froben (1501-1563) oli Baselissa toiminut kirjanpainaja ja samalla alalla toimineen Johann Frobenin vanhin poika. Hän opiskeli Baselin yliopistossa ja matkusteli laajasti ympäri Eurooppaa.


Froben, hänen isänsä sekä velipuolensa Nicolaus Episcopius työskentelivät yhdessä Erasmus Rotterdamilaisen kanssa,[1] ja julkaisivat muun muassa tämän teoksen Tyhmyyden ylistys vuonna 1532.[2] Heidät tunnetaan siitä, että he tekivät Baselista merkittävän renessanssiaikaisen kirjanpainannan keskuksen. Heidän toimittamiinsa teoksiin kuuluvat muun muassa Georgius Agricolan teoksen De re metallica ensimmäinen latinankielinen laitos vuodelta 1556. Osassa teoksista oli Hans Holbein nuoremman tekemää kuvitusta.


Frobenin oma poika Ambrosius jatkoi suvun kirjanpainannan perinteitä seuraavan vuosisadan puolelle.
