Scimitar-luokka on Britannian Kuninkaallisen laivaston kahden aluksen muodostama partioveneluokka.



Alukset |


Halmaticin vuonna 1988 valmistamat alukset olivat aluksi antiterrorismi tehtävissä Pohjois-Irlannissa Lough Neaghissa. Ne poistettiin käytöstä 2002 tarkastettaessa laivaston tehtäviä alueella. Alukset siirrettiin syyskuussa 2002
Gibraltarille, missä ne liitettiin Gibraltarin laivueeseen. Ne korvasivat koulutuksen päätyttyä aiemmat HMS Trumpeterin ja HMS Rangerin.[1]
Alukset otettiin palvelukseen 31. tammikuuta 2003.[2]
