Iberomesornis romeralli oli pieni ja alkukantainen lintu, joka eli liitukaudella noin 120 miljoonaa vuotta sitten. Lajista tunnetaan vain yksi hyvin säilynyt luuranko, joka löydettiin vuonna 1992 Espanjan Las Hoyasin järvikerrostumista.


Ibemerosorniksen siipiväli oli noin 20 senttiä ja se painoi luultavasti muutamia kymmeniä grammoja. Lajilla oli hampaat ja siivissä kynnet perintönä dinosauruksilta. Ravinnosta ei voida sanoa mitään varmaa. Koska se löydettiin järvikerrostumasta se mahdollisesti hankki ruokansa järvestä, josta se saattoi napata esimerkiksi äyriäisiä.
