Juha Valste (s. 1945 Helsinki)[1] on suomalainen biologi, tietokirjailija ja toimittaja. Hän on kirjoittanut Suomen Luonto- ja Tiede-lehtiin sekä opettanut ihmisen evoluutiota Helsingin yliopistossa.[2] Hän on julkaissut ihmisen evoluutiosta neljä kirjaa esitellen niissä ajankohdan uusimpia tutkimustuloksia.


Valste on nisäkkäiden suomenkielisiä nimiä uudistavan Nisäkäsnimistötoimikunnan jäsen.[3]
