Superior on kaupunki ja Douglasin piirikunnan hallinnollinen keskus Wisconsinin osavaltiossa Yhdysvalloissa. Se sijaitsee osavaltion luoteisosassa Yläjärven länsirannalla. Kaupungissa on 27 200 asukasta (vuonna 2010).


Yläjärveen laskevien Saint Louis ja Nemadji -jokien rajoittaman kaupungin pinta-ala on 144,13 neliökilometriä. Se muodostaa Duluthin kanssa yhtenäisen kaupunkialueen, josta käytetään nimitystä Twin Ports. Kaupungin kosteaa mannerilmastoa leudontaa Yläjärven läheisyys.


Vuonna 1854 perustetun[1] kaupungin väkiluku oli suurimmillaan yli 40 000 vuonna 1910, minkä jälkeen se alkoi vähitellen laskea. Vuodesta 1990 lähtien asukasmäärä on pysynyt lähes samana. Asukkaista yli 90 % on eurooppalaista alkuperää. Suurimmat etniset ryhmät ovat saksalaiset, norjalaiset, ruotsalaiset, irlantilaiset, puolalaiset ja suomalaiset (6,9 % vuonna 2000).


Kaupungin kautta kulkevat valtatiet 2 ja 53. Superiorin ja Duluthin satama on Suurten järvien tärkein. Superioriin on myös rautatieyhteys. Liikenteen lisäksi tärkeitä työnantajia ovat öljynjalostamo ja muu jalostusteollisuus. Kaupungissa toimii Wisconsinin yliopiston kampus.


Superiorin kaupunkikuvaa leimaa Yläjärveä kohti viettävä tasanko. Kaupungin nähtävyyksiin kuuluvat 1896 rakennettu museolaiva SS Meteor, Barker’s Islandin ranta-alue ja museona toimiva Fairlawnin kartano[1].
