Hannu Salonen (s. 10. heinäkuuta 1972 Pori [1]) on suomalainen elokuvaohjaaja. Hän on opiskellut Berliinissä Deutsche Film-und Fernsehakademiessa. Salonen asuu Saksassa ja työskentelee pääosin siellä.[2]


Hänen ohjauksiaan ovat muun muassa elokuvat Moments in Monochrome (1998), Downhill City (1999), All' Arrabiata - Eine kochende Leidenschaft (2000) ja Vasha (2009). Hän on ohjannut myös televisiosarjoja Ki.Ka-Krimi.de, Polizeiruf 110, Commisario Laurenti, Kriminalisti, Rikospaikalla, Crossing Lines ja Die Hebamme (2014).


Salonen on ohjannut Vares-elokuvan Vares – Sheriffi, jonka ensi-ilta oli tammikuussa 2015. [2]
