Goodmans Axiette on E. J. Jordanin suunnittelema kokoäänialueen kaiutin


Edward James Jordan (s. 1930) on brittiläinen kaiutinten suunnittelija ja kaiutintekniikan kehittäjä. Hän on työssään paneutunut erityisesti kokoäänialueen kaiutinten tuotekehitykseen.


Jordan aloitti kaiutinten tuotekehitystyön kaiuttimia valmistaneen Goodmans Industries -yrityksen Wembleyssä sijainneella tuotekehitysosastolla. Vuodesta 1963 alkaen hänen Jordan-Watts Ltd -yrityksestään tuli metallikartioisten kaiutinten edelläkävijä. Vuonna 1975 hän perusti nykyisen yrityksensä, joka on vuodesta 1982 toiminut nimellä E J Jordan Designs.


Jordan on kirjoittanut useita artikkeleita, joissa hän selittää kaiutintekniikan teoriaa.
