I've been struggling to get my dataset, a folder of RGB training samples and a folder of corresponding RGB ground truth for semantic segmentation, into TensorFlow. I use TensorFlow 1.13 with eager execution. The documentation recommends the TFRecords file format and demonstrates how this can be easily imported, but doesn't say a thing about how to create such a file. The structure also looks complicated. Alternatively, I suppose I could read the files into memory (using tf.io, PIL or OpenCV perhaps), but the whole dataset won't fit into memory. What is the easiest way to stream my dataset into TensorFlow with eager execution?
