Kari Palaste (s. 12. huhtikuuta 1950 Kajaani) on suomalainen arkkitehti. Kari Palaste on VPL-Arkkitehdit Oy:n (aiemmin nimellä Virta Palaste Leinonen Arkkitehdit Oy) osakas ja toimitusjohtaja. Kari Palasteen isä oli talvisodan veteraani Onni Palaste.


Kari Palaste opiskeli arkkitehtuuria Oulun yliopiston teknillisen tiedekunnan arkkitehtuurin osastossa. Palaste valmistui arkkitehdiksi vuonna 1986. Hän on suunnitellut yhteistyössä nykyisen toimiston muun henkilökunnan kanssa viime vuosina muun muassa Työterveyslaitoksen laajennuksen ja Myllypuron terveysaseman Helsinkiin, Lintulaakson koulun, VTT/ Rakennus- ja yhdyskuntatekniikan laajennuksen Espooseen sekä monia muita julkisia uudisrakennuksia ja/tai niiden peruskorjauksia.
