Georges Brassens (22. lokakuuta 1921 – 29. lokakuuta 1981[1]) oli ranskalainen laulaja-lauluntekijä ja runoilija. Brassensia pidetään yhtenä ranskalaisen chansonin kolmesta suuresta B:stä: Brel, Brassens ja Barbara[2]. Häntä pidetään yhtenä parhaista Ranskan toisen maailmansodan jälkeisen ajan runoilijoista,[3] ja vuonna 1967 hän sai ranskalaisen kirjallisuuspalkinnon Grand Prix de poésie de l'Académie françaisen, joka myönnetään ranskankieliselle runoilijalle hänen tuotannostaan[4].
