John Mayow (joulukuu 1641, Looe – syyskuu 1679, Lontoo) oli englantilainen kemisti ja lääkäri.


Mayow syntyi joulukuussa 1641 lähellä Looea, Cornwallissa. Hän pääsi opiskelemaan Oxfordin yliopistoon 1659. Vuonna 1670 hän valmistui lakitieteen kandidaatiksi ja sai oikeuden opiskella ja harjoittaa lääketiedettä. Hän tutki paljon palamista, ilmakehän koostumusta ja hengitystä. Vuonna 1678 hänet valittiin Royal Societyyn. Mayow kuoli syyskuussa 1679 Lontoossa.[1]
