Porsche Super


Porsche on saksalaisen Porsche-yhtiön valmistama traktorimerkki.


Ensimmäinen malli, Type 100, valmistui vuonna 1937. Siitä kokeiltiin useita erilaisia versioita, voissakin oli V-tyypin kone, toisissa yhdeksänsylinterinen. Jotkut olivat nelitahtisia, toiset kaksitahtisia.Seuraaja Type 111 käytti kaksitahtikonetta. Type 112:ssa oli voimakkaampi moottori ja vuonna 1940 markkinoille tullutta Type 112/5:ttä pidetään malliston parhaana.[1]


On kerrottu, että Adolf Hitler tilasi traktorin Porschelta, mutta myös versiota, että Ferdinand Porsche ujutti ajatuksen Hitlerille. Uutta ”kansantraktoria” piti kehittää samaan tyyliin kuin ”kansanautoa” (Volkswagen), ja tehtaan piti tuottaa aluksi 100 000 traktoria vudodessa, myöhemmin 300 000. Vuonna 1941, kun öljytuotteiden saanti oli hankalaa, markkinoille tuotiin myös puuta polttava häkäpönttömalli.[1]


Porschen dieselmoottorilla toimivia traktoreita valmistettiin vuoteen 1963 asti.[2]

Suomeen on tuotu ainakin malleja Junior, Standart, Super ja Master. Ainakin kahteen suurimpaan on saanut turbiinikytkimen.
Moottorit ovat ilmajäähdytteisiä. Ilmajäähdytteisiä sylintereitä 1,2,3 tai 4 mallista riippuen. Jäähdytystä tehostaa koteloitu puhallus.
